Private AI
client records shared with model makers or used to train anyone’s model.
Private: kept within your walls.
Your environment, your data, your rules.
- In your own environment. The tools run inside your own cloud account, reached over a private connection.
- Never used for training.Your documents and questions are not shared with the model’s maker or used to improve it.
- Built for your rules. On services eligible for HIPAA and similar standards, configured with your compliance lead.
Who asks for it
Firms that answer to someone.
-
01
Advisers
Meeting notes and review prep drafted for your advisers to check, with client data kept under your control. Your compliance officer approves the design first.
-
02
Clinics
Medical and dental practices get help with intake, scheduling and records, on services eligible for HIPAA and set up to fit your privacy program.
-
03
Funds and lenders
Deal and borrower documents read and summarized inside your own account, so sensitive files never travel.
-
04
Colleges
When a contract asks where student data goes, you have the answer: it stays in your account. The same holds for the vendors who serve them.
Three levels
How private is private?
There are three honest answers, and each comes with a promise that holds. Most regulated firms need the second.
-
Level 1
Protected by contract
A business plan on a popular public tool, with a contract that rules out training on your data.
The promise
“Your data is not used for training. It does leave your company.”
Fine for many businesses. Often not allowed for firms that answer to a regulator.
-
Level 2Where most firms land
In your own account
The tools run inside your own cloud account and are reached over a private connection.
The promise
“Your data stays in your own account and is never shared with the model’s maker or used to train it.”
Advisers, clinics, funds and colleges, and the vendors who serve them.
-
Level 3
Inside your building
The tools run on equipment in your own office, with no connection to the internet.
The promise
“Your data never leaves your building.”
For the few who truly need it. It costs more and updates more slowly.
Not sure which level your rules call for? We work that out together in the Assess, before anything is priced.
Private AI
Common questions.
Are you HIPAA compliant?
Compliance belongs to your program, not to a product. We build on HIPAA-eligible services under a business associate agreement and set them up to fit your program.
Is it air-gapped?
Only the third level is, because only that one runs with no internet connection. Most firms are well served by the second, which keeps your data inside your own account.
Who signs off before anything goes live?
Your compliance lead. Nothing is connected until they have seen the design and approved it.
Can our team keep the tools they know?
Yes. The work shows up in the systems your people already use.
Which models do you use?
Leading ones, run through services that keep your data in your own account. When better ones arrive, we can switch without starting over.
What does it cost?
You will know the number before you commit. Setup is priced like any build, and the running costs are set out in writing before anything is built.
How does it start?
With the same free conversation as any project. If privacy rules shape the work, the Assess maps what data you hold, where it lives and what the rules require before anything is priced.
Bring your rules. We’ll build inside them.
